They read more like a tech forum than anything else because they default to the old school design, where everything is text based with image embeds and it doesn’t make for a fun scroll. However, if you make friends with any of the site’s members, you’ll have a great time. They organize events, they have fun together and in my case I happened to find a really cool dude to play World of Warcraft with on these forums, so you never know.
On top of just posting content, there’s a lot of simple interaction that the community sets up that really blew me away. It’s entirely pointless, but if you’ve had a stressful day at work, it’s a great way to relax and unwind. It certainly put me in a good mood.
